ECO AIR Company Overview
ECO AIR is an innovative Australian manufacturing company with patented energy recovery air conditioning and ventilation technology.
The company has successfully developed the ideal solution to indoor air quality and energy efficiency problems experienced with conventional air conditioning.
ECO AIR has centred its technology around a counterflow, air-to-air heat exchanger which is significantly smaller, mass producible and therefore less expensive to manufacture, and more efficient than other heat exchangers.
The heat exchanger's compact size and efficiency has enabled ECO AIR to incorporate it into a range of innovative air-conditioning, heating and cooling (HVAC) systems that can deliver a number of advantages over existing systems. These advantages include significantly reduced running costs, ability to provide fresh air economically, and reduced need for a compressor which further reduces running costs, thereby making a contribution to the environment by reducing CFC and HCFC gases.
The key product manufactured by the company is a 100% fresh air reverse cycle rooftop package unit, ranging in sizes from cooling capacity of 15kW to 200kW, ideal for buildings with a high requirement for fresh air. ECO AIR has supplied 100% fresh air rooftop reverse cycle air conditioning units to projects including:
Hotels, cinemas, offices, clubs, theatres, hospitals, shopping centres, community centres and factories.
ECO AIR has exported a number of rooftop units to the USA and Middle East and is seeking to increase export sales through strategic partners in North America and Europe.
A new range of Heat Recovery Ventilators incorporating the energy efficient heat exchanger are now in production. The ventilators are small and lightweight, and are an ideal solution for the introduction of fresh air into tightly sealed modern buildings.
